Preparation of Taro and Oyster Meat Soup

Step 1
Heat a pan with a little bit of sesame oil, then add thinly sliced lean pork
Step 2
Stir-fry until the pork changes color, then add garlic slices, dried chili, and soaked dried shrimp
Step 3
Drizzle with light soy sauce, oyster sauce, and a little sesame oil for color and flavor
Step 4
Stir and check the fragrance, then add water according to desired soup consistency

Bring to a boil, then add peeled and sliced taro pieces, along with black fungus if available

If no black fungus, try various mushrooms, cover and simmer until taro is cooked
Step 7
If unsure, simmer for five to six minutes, then taste a piece of taro carefully as it may be hot, continue cooking if needed

When done, sprinkle chopped coriander, turn off the heat, transfer to a bowl, and enjoy as desired
