Ingredients for Flavored Preserved Beef
Preserved Beef 7 oz | Sichuan Peppercorn 15 pieces |
Star Anise 2 pieces | Cinnamon small piece |
Dark Soy Sauce as needed | Sichuan Pepper Oil as needed |
MSG as needed | Red Line Pepper as needed |

Recipe for Flavored Preserved Beef

Step 1
Preserved beef, star anise, ginger, Sichuan peppercorn, cinnamon into a pressure cooker, pressure cook for 18 minutes
Step 2
Slice the cooked preserved beef, reserve the original broth
Step 3
Heat tea oil in a pan, sauté ginger slices, add preserved beef and sauté until browned, add dark soy sauce for color, pour in the original broth and simmer
Step 4
Heat pork lard in a pan, add garlic cloves, red line pepper, chopped chili and stir fry until fragrant, then add the cooked preserved beef
Step 5
Reduce the sauce, add garlic chives, a little MSG, drizzle with Sichuan pepper oil, serve and enjoy
