Ingredients for Tomato Stewed Tofu
Tomato 2 | Tofu 1 block |
Green Onion Appropriate amount | Oil Appropriate amount |
Salt 1 spoon | Chicken Essence 1 spoon |
Light Soy Sauce 2 spoons | Green Pepper 1 |
Cooking Steps for Tomato Stewed Tofu

Step 1
Cut the tomatoes into chunks, the shape doesn’t matter as long as they can be cooked.
Step 2
Cut the tofu into chunks, try to make the sizes as even as possible.
Step 3
Do whatever, however.
Step 4
Cut it however you want.
Step 5
Put some oil in the pan and fry the tofu for a bit.
Step 6
Fry until it’s about this done.
Step 7
In a small pot, add chili powder, green onion, and tomatoes (make sure to add a bit of salt to let the tomatoes release juice).
Step 8
Add light soy sauce, chicken essence, salt, and water into the mixture. Use boiling water, cold water doesn’t matter.
Step 9
Simmer for about 10 minutes, be careful not to let it stick to the pot. It’s ready to serve.
