Ingredients for Sweet and Sour Eggs
Eggs 3 | Light Soy Sauce 1 spoon |
Oyster Sauce 1/2 spoon | Dark Soy Sauce 1/4 spoon |
Vinegar 2 spoons | Ketchup 2 spoons |
Sugar 25g | Cornstarch 1 teaspoon |
Green Pepper 1/2 | Water 1/4 bowl (for sauce) |
Water 2 tablespoons (for cornstarch mixture) | Cooking Oil 2 tablespoons |
Salt, Sugar, Chicken Essence a little (for mixing with eggs) |
Steps to Make Sweet and Sour Eggs

Step 1
Remove the seeds from the green pepper, wash and dice. Beat the eggs, add a little salt, sugar, and chicken essence, mix well and set aside.
Step 2
Mix light soy sauce, dark soy sauce, oyster sauce, ketchup, vinegar, and water to make the sauce.
Step 3
Heat a tablespoon of cooking oil in a pan, sauté the green pepper over low heat.
Step 4
Add the beaten eggs, stir-fry until cooked, then remove from the pan.
Step 5
Mix water and cornstarch to make a cornstarch mixture and set aside.
Step 6
Add a tablespoon of cooking oil to the pan, pour in the sauce and cornstarch mixture, stir constantly with a spatula, simmer over low heat until it thickens.
Step 7
Add the cooked eggs, stir-fry evenly, then remove from the heat.
