Recipe for Stir-Fried Green Beans with Shredded Pork

Step 1
Wash the pork leg meat and green beans, set aside.
Step 2
Cut the meat into shreds (leave some fat to stir-fry with vegetables), cut the green beans diagonally, prepare the bird’s eye chili, Doubanjiang, minced garlic, and chopped ginger. To save time, after cutting the meat into shreds, I directly marinated it with a little salt and mixed in the sweet potato starch.
Step 3
Blanch the green beans in boiling water to partially cook them.
Step 4
Heat oil in a pan, add a few Sichuan peppercorns (skip if you don’t like the numbing flavor), stir-fry the prepared ingredients in the small bowl until fragrant.
Step 5
Add the shredded meat and stir-fry until partially cooked.
Step 6
Add the green beans and continue to stir-fry.
Step 7
Add a little chicken powder for extra flavor (optional if you prefer not to use MSG).
