Glutinous Rice 400g | Ground Pork 500g |
Salt 2-3g | Cornstarch 2g |
White Pepper 2g | Oyster Sauce 1 tablespoon |

Instructions for Glutinous Rice Pearl Meatballs

Step 1
When buying meat at the supermarket, ask the butcher to grind the meat directly into a paste to save time.
Step 2
Soak the glutinous rice in advance for 3-4 hours. Soaked glutinous rice is easy to steam, and be sure to filter out excess water to avoid difficulty in shaping the rice balls.
Step 3
Mix cornstarch, chicken bouillon, oyster sauce, light soy sauce, and white pepper into the ground meat.
Step 4
Gradually add water to the meat mixture, adding one spoonful at a time while stirring, until a paste consistency is achieved.
Step 5
Add the soaked glutinous rice into the mixture.
Step 6
Mix everything together evenly.
Step 7
Take a spoonful of the mixture, roll into small balls in your hands, dab a little water to help adhere the glutinous rice.
Step 8
Once coated, the meatballs look like cute little balls.
Step 9
Arrange the prepared meatballs neatly on a plate, place in a steamer, and steam for approximately 25 minutes.
Step 10
The steamed meatballs, good looking and best enjoyed hot for optimal flavor.
