Ingredients for Tomato Beef Stew with Potatoes
Beef 300g | Tomatoes 2 |
Potatoes 2 | Green Onions 1 stalk |
Ginger 1 small piece | Dried Red Chili 2 |

Recipe for Tomato Beef Stew with Potatoes

Step 1
Thinly slice the beef, marinate with cooking wine, light soy sauce, sweet potato starch, mix well by hand, then add 1 tbsp of Grandma’s Homestyle Rapeseed Oil to lock in the flavor. Slice the ginger, cut the green onion into pieces.
Step 2
Wash and cut the tomatoes into small pieces.
Step 3
Heat a wok, add Grandma’s Homestyle Rapeseed Oil.
Step 4
Add the marinated beef, stir-fry over medium heat until the beef changes color and a meaty aroma is released.
Step 5
Add ginger slices, green onion, and dried red chili, stir well.
Step 6
Add the tomato pieces and stir-fry briefly.
Step 7
Pour in the sweet rice wine.
Step 8
Add boiling water, covering the ingredients, bring to a boil.
Step 9
Add the potato pieces, simmer over low heat for 20 minutes, add salt, continue simmering for 5 minutes until the ingredients are tender and flavorful.
Step 10
Serve in a bowl, sprinkle with freshly chopped green onions for added fragrance. Perfect to enjoy with rice or noodles.
