Ingredients for Spicy Fried Tofu
Dried Tofu 400g | Ginger 1 piece |
Garlic 1 head | Soy Sauce 1 tablespoon |
Cumin Powder 1 tablespoon | Oyster Sauce, Salt, Chicken Stock as needed |
Chili Powder 1 tablespoon |
Steps to make Spicy Fried Tofu

Step 1
Cut the dried tofu into strips, then into chunks, and finally into triangles.
Step 2
Heat oil in a pan, fry the tofu triangles over medium heat until golden brown.
Step 3
Fry the tofu triangles until crispy on the outside, then remove and set aside. (Do not overcook)
Step 4
Finely chop or process the ginger and garlic and set aside.
Step 5
In the same pan, sauté the chopped ginger, garlic, and chili powder in oil. Add a bowl of water, bring to a boil, then add soy sauce, oyster sauce, and salt.
Step 6
Add the fried tofu triangles, cumin powder, chicken stock, and sesame seeds. Mix well, simmer until sauce thickens, then plate and serve!
