Ingredients for Sour Cabbage Stir-Fried Lamb
Lamb leg meat 300g | Homemade sour cabbage ½ small bowl |
White part of a large scallion 1 small piece | Bird’s eye chilies 2 |
Grandma’s Hometown Virgin Oil 4 tablespoons | Cooking wine 2 tablespoons |
Salt 2g | Light soy sauce 1 tablespoon |
Sweet potato starch 10g |
Recipe for Sour Cabbage Stir-Fried Lamb

Step 1
Rinse the lamb leg meat with warm water, slice thinly, place on a plate, add light soy sauce, cooking wine, sweet potato starch and mix well. Then drizzle 1 tablespoon of Grandma’s Hometown Virgin Oil to lock in the flavor. Chop the scallion into small pieces, and cut the bird’s eye chilies into rings.
Step 2
Heat the pan, add 2 tablespoons of Grandma’s Hometown Virgin Oil.
Step 3
Add the scallion pieces and chili rings, stir-fry over low heat until fragrant.
Step 4
Add the marinated lamb meat and stir-fry over high heat until it changes color, then set aside.
Step 5
Reheat the pan, add 1 tablespoon of Grandma’s Hometown Virgin Oil.

Add the sour cabbage, stir-fry over medium heat for about 1 minute to bring out the sour flavor.
Step 7
Add in the stir-fried lamb meat, sprinkle with salt, and stir well before serving.

Serve on a plate and garnish with shredded scallions to enhance the flavor. The combination of sour cabbage and sweet lamb meat creates a perfect balance of flavors, with the crispy texture of the cabbage and tender lamb making it a delicious appetizer or main dish.
