Steps to Make Ice Skin Red Bean Cake

Step 1
Mix the powdered ingredients, sift them, add milk gradually while kneading, do not add too much milk at once. Knead into a dough, if the red bean paste is already sweet, no need to add sugar to the dough. If using a less sweet filling, sugar can be added to the dough.

Take half of the dough, add cocoa powder and knead until well mixed. If the dough feels dry, add a little water as needed.

Roll out equal-sized small dough balls of both types, round them by hand, pair a white ball with a cocoa ball, press them together, roll them into balls, flatten slightly, fill with red bean paste, seal, and place in a mold with a decorative base. Press, then remove from the mold.

Place parchment paper in a steamer, add the prepared cakes, steam for 10 minutes, then let cool before removing.
