Glutinous Rice Flour 200g | Green Juice 160g |
Sugar 30g | Corn Oil 30g |
Wheat Starch 60g | Boiling Water 100g |
Recipe for Green Dumplings

Step 1
Mix glutinous rice flour, white sugar, and corn oil in a large bowl, then pour in green juice
Step 2
Knead until uniform, set aside
Step 3
Soak wheat starch in boiling water until semi-transparent, this step is crucial, use just boiled water to soak the starch, then knead until uniform
Step 4
Combine the two doughs and knead together
Step 5
Knead until smooth and elastic
Step 6
Divide into your preferred sizes, I usually do 40g for the dough and 30g for the filling
Step 7
Wrap the filling of your choice inside
Step 8
Roll into a ball and add your preferred decorations on top
Step 9
Steam for about 15 minutes once the water is boiling, adjust by +/- 2 minutes depending on quantity
Step 10
The finished product is soft, chewy, and stays soft for three days
