Ingredients for Cold Sauce
Ginger a small piece | Garlic cloves 3 cloves |
Bird’s eye chili 1 | Soy sauce 4 tablespoons |
Vinegar 1 tablespoon | Sichuan peppercorn oil 1/3 tablespoon |
Sesame oil 2 tablespoons | Chicken essence 1 teaspoon |
Salt 1 gram |
Recipe for Cold Sauce

Step 1
Prepare a bird’s eye chili, a bit of ginger and garlic, if you have green onions you can add some, I ran out so I didn’t add them
Step 2
Smash or chop them
Step 3
Pour in soy sauce, 4 tablespoons of soy sauce, 1 tablespoon of vinegar, a little Sichuan peppercorn oil (if you don’t like spicy, you can skip this), 2 tablespoons of sesame oil
Step 4
Add a bit of chicken essence and a pinch of salt, I’m currently trying to reduce sugar so I didn’t add any, but if you like you can add half a tablespoon of sugar for seasoning

Finally, microwave for 1 minute to release the aroma and then you can mix it with anything and enjoy
