Steps for Super Simple Scallion Chicken Rice

Step 1
Remove bones from chicken thighs, marinate with black pepper, sea salt, and cooking oil for 15 minutes
Step 2
Heat the pan with oil, place chicken thighs with the skin side down, fry until slightly browned and then remove
Step 3
Saute scallions, ginger, and onions in the remaining oil
Step 4
Add boiling water, salt, and sugar as needed
Step 5
Add two spoons of oyster sauce, place the chicken thighs, cover and simmer for 5 minutes

Wash the rice, add the chicken thighs, pour in the cooked broth according to the rice cooking measurements, and cook normally

Prepare minced scallions, ginger, and garlic, drizzle with hot oil, add 2 spoons of oyster sauce, 1 spoon of soy sauce, a little sugar, mix well and set aside

Scoop out a portion of cooked rice onto a plate, arrange the chicken pieces, pour the sauce on top, and it’s ready!
