Steps for Making Homemade Healthy Yogurt

Step 1
Use hot water to wash the inner container of the yogurt maker and pour in 1 liter of pure milk.
Step 2
Add 1 gram of yogurt fermentation agent and stir well. If using frozen yogurt bacterial powder, let it sit at room temperature for 15 minutes before adding it to the milk. (For those who like sweetness, you can add some white sugar or sugar substitute according to your preference, usually around 50 grams.)
Step 3
Place the mixture in the yogurt maker and let it ferment until the milk solidifies (different bacterial strains have different fermentation times, usually 8-10 hours, my strain requires 8-12 hours). Check the consistency, and once the yogurt solidifies, it’s ready to eat.
Step 4
Pair the yogurt with fruits, dried fruits, or nuts for a nutritious and delicious treat. (If you didn’t add white sugar before fermentation, you can drizzle some honey before eating.)
Step 5
Enjoy the tangy and sweet homemade yogurt that is pure and natural with no additives.
