Instructions for Homemade Braised Duck Feet

Step 1
Prepare all the ingredients as shown in the picture, wash the duck feet in clean water, cut the small red chili, dried chili (slightly spicy, not for fragrance), and Sichuan peppercorns into pieces and set aside.
Step 2
Prepare an electric rice cooker, put all the prepared ingredients into the cooker, add about 2 tbsp of cooking wine (approximately 50ml), add water to cover the duck feet (I used hot water from the tap, around 50-60 degrees Celsius), add salt according to taste, you can taste the water slightly to adjust the saltiness.
Step 3
I used a regular electric rice cooker, simmered for 40 minutes, which resulted in the perfect texture for us, not too tough or too tender. If using a household pressure cooker, it is recommended to cook for 3-5 minutes after the water boils.
Step 4
Ready to serve! My colleagues at the shop all praised my braised duck feet.
