Recipe for Kung Pao Chicken

Step 1
Cut the chicken breast into cubes, marinate with 3 tablespoons of soy sauce and 1 tablespoon of starch, spray with cooking oil and marinate for at least half an hour.
Step 2
Cut the cucumber and carrot, blanch the carrot if desired. Also prepare fried peanuts.
Step 3
Heat oil in a pan, stir-fry the marinated chicken breast until golden brown, then remove and set aside.

Leave some oil in the pan, add the diced carrots. Prepare a sauce: mix 2 tablespoons of soy sauce, 3 tablespoons of Pixian Doubanjiang, 1 teaspoon of sugar and salt, add water and mix well, then pour into the pan. Add the cucumber cubes, chicken breast cubes, and fried peanuts. Stir well.
