Method for Homemade Scallion Pancake

Step 1
Mix half of the boiling water and half of the cold water with the flour separately to form a smooth dough. Divide into 4 equal portions, brush the surface with oil, cover with plastic wrap and let it rest for 30 minutes.

Chop the scallions and set aside.
Step 3
Roll out the dough into thin translucent pancakes. Brush with Grandmother’s Village Cold-Pressed Rapeseed Oil, sprinkle some salt, and chopped scallions. Roll it up from one side, stretch it out, then roll it up from one end again. Let the rolled dough rest for 10 minutes, then roll it out into a round pancake.
Step 4
Add Grandmother’s Village Cold-Pressed Rapeseed Oil to the pan.

When the oil is hot, place the pancake dough in and cook over low heat.

Cook until one side is golden brown, then flip it over. When both sides are golden brown, it is ready.
