Ingredients for Steamed Cod Fish with Black Pepper
Cod Fish 250g | Black Pepper As needed |
Olive Oil 10g | Steamed Fish Soy Sauce 2 tablespoons |
Recipe for Steamed Cod Fish with Black Pepper

Step 1
Rinse the cod fish, pat dry with kitchen paper towels, and place it on a plate for later use!
Step 2
Use scissors to cut open the fish skin, peel off the skin of the cod fish, as the fish skin is very fishy, I always remove it
Step 3
Sprinkle black pepper on both sides of the cod fish using a black pepper mill (black pepper powder works too)
Step 4
Drizzle a little olive oil on top of the cod fish, and spread evenly on both sides
Step 5
After the water in the steamer boils, steam for 7 minutes, then remove the fish from the steamer, drain the water from the plate, and add 2 tablespoons of steamed fish soy sauce. Done! (I didn’t have steamed fish soy sauce at home, so I used sushi soy sauce, which is also good)
