Steps to Make Coconut Chicken

Step 1
After slaughtering the free-range chicken, remove the internal organs, wash and chop it. Blanch in cold water with cooking wine and ginger slices. After blanching for two minutes, remove and rinse with running water to remove blood foam. Set aside.
Step 2
When buying the coconut, ask the vendor to help peel it. Wash the coconut at home, use a small knife to make a small cut at the top of the coconut, pour out the coconut water, and cut the coconut meat into small pieces for later use.
Step 3
Put the coconut meat, coconut water, and the blanched chicken in a pot. Add an appropriate amount of water, bring to a boil over high heat, then reduce heat and simmer for an hour. Finally, season with salt and chicken essence according to personal taste.

After turning off the heat, use blotting paper to absorb the oil, then serve.
