Start by making the chocolate cake batter, separate egg whites from yolks. The recipe is for a 6-inch cake, but I am making several, hence more eggs are used. The process is similar to making a chiffon cake, so I’ll keep it simple. Refer to my chiffon cake recipe for details, it’s foolproof!
