Steps for Making Chili Shrimp Sauce

Step 1
Prepare garlic cloves, dried shrimps, small hot peppers, and sweet peppers
Step 2
Add appropriate amount of salt to sweet peppers, small hot peppers, and garlic cloves, then grind them with a meat grinder
Step 3
Drain the water by adding salt, discard the water, this step helps reduce the time needed to enhance the texture of the chili sauce. Heat a pan and add rapeseed oil, then add small hot peppers, sweet peppers, and crushed garlic, simmer for 2 minutes before adding dried shrimps
Step 4
After adding dried shrimps, simmer for another 2 minutes, then add sugar, chicken powder, and salt. Add less salt if it was added in the previous step
Step 5
Chili shrimp sauce is ready, store it in a stainless steel container in the refrigerator, it can last for about a week
