Garlic and herb white sauce

In recent weeks, due to the bird flu, we can’t buy eggs anywhere here. I went to Costco three times and came back empty-handed. Later, a friend told me that if I go to Costco early in the morning on a weekday, I will probably be able to buy eggs. So, a few days ago, I woke up my husband early in the morning and waited for the supermarket to open to go buy some eggs. I also asked him to bring back some garlic on the way.
We did manage to buy eggs, but my husband must have thought there was a shortage of garlic too, because he came back with two big bags totaling four pounds of garlic.
Most likely, the food returned to Costco will be discarded. In order to not waste food, I spent two days peeling three pounds of garlic cloves, grinding them into garlic paste, freezing most of it, and using the rest to make two batches of this garlic herb white sauce. In the afternoon, I also made some garlic bread. Both my husband and son, who love garlic bread, complimented themselves for having the foresight to buy so much garlic!
