Ingredients for Scallion Braised Tofu
Tofu 1 block | Green Onions 1 piece |
Light soy sauce 1 spoon | Oyster sauce 1 spoon |

Recipe for Scallion Braised Tofu

Step 1
Cut the tofu into blocks. I use a spoon to scoop out block shapes.
Step 2
Brush oil on the tofu, bake at 180℃ for 3-5 minutes, flip and bake for a while longer.
Step 3
The baked tofu will have a golden brown color, making it less likely to break apart when sautéed.
Step 4
Prepare a bowl of sauce in advance: diced millet pepper, minced garlic, seasoning powder, oyster sauce, light soy sauce, a little vinegar.
Step 5
Stir-fry the white onions until golden brown and soft.
Step 6
Pour in the sauce, gently stir-fry evenly, then add water starch to thicken before removing from heat.
Step 7
The tofu is tender and flavorful, with a strong aroma of green onions. It’s irresistible once served.
