Ingredients for Braised Tofu
Firm Tofu 1 block | Bell Pepper 2 pieces |
Cooking Wine Appropriate amount | Light Soy Sauce Appropriate amount |
Dark Soy Sauce Appropriate amount | Cooking Oil Appropriate amount |
Steps to Make Braised Tofu

Step 1
Wash the tofu, clean the bell peppers, and set aside
Step 2
Finely chop the bell peppers and set aside
Step 3
Heat oil in a pan, add the tofu cubes, fry until golden brown on both sides

While frying, prepare the sauce mixture with 1 spoon of cooking wine, 3 spoons of light soy sauce, and 1 spoon of dark soy sauce

Try to flip the tofu less during frying, flip only after one side is cooked

After frying the tofu, add the bell peppers and stir-fry evenly

One minute before removing the pan, pour in the sauce mixture, add half a bowl of water, cover the pan, and simmer for a minute

If there is too much water after adding, allow it to simmer longer to reduce the sauce; if you prefer more broth, you can add more water, simmer for a minute after the water boils. Adjust according to personal preference.
