Steps for Red Bean Job’s Tears Water

Step 1
Prepare mung beans and Job’s Tears in a 1:1 ratio.
Step 2
Mung beans are slightly cold, so it’s best to stir-fry them in a dry and oil-free pan before boiling them for children.
Step 3
Stir-fry the mung beans over low heat until they turn slightly golden brown, indicating they are ready.
Step 4
The well-fried mung beans are quite convenient to store. Just seal them well, and if you’re worried, you can add a desiccant (usually found in food bags) to make them last longer.
Step 5
When you’re ready to boil the water, scoop out two small spoonfuls like this and pour them into a health pot, you can also add some pitted red dates for extra flavor.
Step 6
Add 1000ml of water to the prepared ingredients, cover and cook. Simmer and cook for about 30 minutes.
Step 7
When I cook the water at home, I also add some wolfberries, turning it into a tea drink instead of water, refreshing and nourishing.
