Pork Belly with Skin 500g | Chive Sprouts 250g |
Green Onions and Ginger As needed | Sichuan Peppercorns and Star Anise As needed |
Cooking Wine 1 tbsp | Light Soy Sauce 1 tbsp |
Dark Soy Sauce 1/2 tsp | Bay Leaves and Cinnamon As needed |
Sugar 1 tbsp | Oyster Sauce 1 tbsp |
Steps for Making Chive Pork Belly

Step 1
Put the pork belly with skin in cold water in a pot, add cooking wine and a piece of green onion, bring to a boil, cook for five minutes, then remove, wash, and drain.
Step 2
Heat oil in a pan, fry Sichuan peppercorns, star anise, and bay leaves, then pan-fry the meat until all sides are golden brown.
Step 3
Slice the meat.

Place the sliced meat in a bowl.

Mix the chive sprouts with sugar, Sichuan peppercorns, star anise, bay leaves, green onions, ginger, light soy sauce, dark soy sauce, oyster sauce, and cooking wine. Adjust salt according to taste.

Pressure cook for 15 minutes until the meat is tender.

Once cooked, transfer to a plate for serving, allowing it to marinate further.
