Spread a layer of butter in the baking dish, sprinkle with sugar to prevent sticking and to create a slightly crispy texture on the surface. Then add the cherries, which can be canned or fresh. You can also use other fruits, as you like~

Mix the remaining ingredients into a batter, with melted butter added after it has liquefied. Pour into the baking dish and place in the oven.

Bake at 210 degrees for 10 minutes, then reduce to 180 degrees and bake for another 20 minutes. Once done, remove from oven and let it cool.
