Spare Ribs 8 small pieces | Pumpkin 100g |
Light Soy Sauce 1 tbsp | Fermented Black Beans 20 pieces |
Garlic Cloves 6 cloves | Salt 1 tbsp |
Oyster Sauce 1 tbsp | Cornstarch 1 tbsp |
Cooking Oil 2 tbsp | Green Onion 1 stalk |
Instructions for Steamed Pumpkin with Fermented Black Beans and Spare Ribs

Step 1
Chop the garlic cloves and fermented black beans and set aside.
Step 2
Soak the spare ribs in water for 10 minutes, then wash them clean. Add salt, light soy sauce, oyster sauce, cornstarch, cooking oil, minced garlic, and fermented black beans. Mix well and marinate for 30 minutes.
Step 3
Slice and wash the pumpkin, then arrange it in small pieces on a plate. Place the marinated spare ribs on top.
Step 4
Bring water to a boil in a pot, then steam the pumpkin and spare ribs over high heat for 25-30 minutes.
Step 5
The dish is ready. Sprinkle some chopped green onions on top before serving.
