Ingredients for Mapo Tofu
Tofu 500g | Minced Pork 50g |
Pixian Doubanjiang (Chili Bean Paste) 1 tbsp | Haoji Mala Chuanxiang Sauce 1 tbsp |
Green Onion 1 stalk | Cornstarch 1 tbsp |
Light Soy Sauce 1 tbsp | Dark Soy Sauce 1/2 tbsp |
Sugar A small amount |
Steps to Make Mapo Tofu

Step 1
Prepare the ingredients;
Step 2
Heat oil in a pan, stir-fry the minced meat until browned, add Pixian Doubanjiang and Haoji Mala Chuanxiang Sauce;
Step 3
Stir-fry evenly;
Step 4
Add tofu, and some water;
Step 5
Add light soy sauce, dark soy sauce, sugar, and cornstarch mixture, cook until the sauce thickens;
Step 6
Top with chopped green onions before serving. A perfect companion for rice~~~
